Hayashi Japanese Restaurant is one of the longest established Japanese Restaurants in Perth, first opening in 1994. A winner of the 2005 R&CIA Awards for Excellence, the restaurant specialises in authentic Japanese cuisine that is presented with artistic, modern flair. A decor of pale sage green walls highlighted with white embossed bamboo wallpaper panels and rice paper screens, black tables and blondwood chairs makes for a relaxed, peaceful dining atmosphere. On the 19th of August Hayashi Japanese Restaurant catered for a group of customers, several of whom had coeliac disease and required a Gluten Free Menu. Wheat free ingredients were used to prepare an ala carte menu which gave customers as much choice as possible. Separate cooking pans and hotplates were used, making this a challenging task. The results were very successful and this was an exciting achievement for staff and customers. Hayashi are proud to cater for all our customers needs.
